Hi! I love these sandals. Bought them in NYC in 2007/2008. But now the back strap has stretched out so much on my right foot that the sandals slips off! What should I do? Has this happened to anyone else? I had hoped they would last 10 years. But I have worn them almost every day during the summers. Is this a normal shelf life or should I try a shoe repair?

Over the past 12 years while jogging my feet became my worst nightmare. Living in South Carolina and working in NYC plus the travel associaed with my job has taken me all over the world! These shoes have been a lifesaver, between those NYC blocks, airports and just walking in general I can't thank you enough. i order two new pair every year, now that i see all these colors who knows how many i may need to buy! Nine years ago while walking in New York City, I purchased a pair of the Naot Kayla sandals on a whim. The Mafisto sandals that I were wearing at the time were killing me! I still have the same pair of Kayla's and they are by far the most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn. Last week I achieved my life long dream and walked the full length of Manhattan with my son. We walked 7 hours, covered 13.5 miles and my feet felt fantastic because I was wearing my Naot Kayla's! Thank You!

I was born with bad knees. I have a history of dislocations. I have had knee surgery on one knee, and now the doctor is talking about surgery on the other. I was told by my physical therapist that I NEED a good sandal with high arch support for my knees. Today I walked into the shoe store seeking a good quality sandal for the summer; the salesperson pulled out about 10 different shoes for me to try on. Don't you know that the very first one I tried on was the Kayla! Instantly I felt a sense of stability with my knees! It was amazing. I bought them and now reading all these wonderful reviews I believe I made a great choice. I am really excited to walk around the college this summer semester with my new Kayla sandals. Hopefully with a lot of hard work in strengthening with physical therapist and good footwear I won't have to have that second knee surgery after all!

If you have Plantar Fasciitis, (which I did)these sandals are the best. After I got off my blood pressure medicine, the PF went away, but I still love these shoes. I need a new Navy Blue pair, though. Where is the Navy???

I cannot thank you enough for a great design. I was in Florence for a month summer school walking in extreme temperature. The city though beautiful, is all stone, not even bitumen, and hardly any grass. These sandals literally saved my feet. Next time I am in the States, I plan to buy several pairs!

These are the best sandals ever! They have great arch support and are so comfortable. I walked all day in these during one of my visits to Disneyland, and my feet never hurt or got tired. I love these...they are worth every cent! :)

My mum bought these for me in clay nubuck the summer before 9th grade and I walked all over Paris and Portugal in them straight out of the box, no blisters! They've held up ever since. They're the most comfortable shoes I own and they don't look frumpy at all. I'm now in my second year at university and after 5/6 years of near constant wear I've managed to pretty much destroy them (velcro's shot, sole is dead, leather is stained beyond repair), so I'm begging my mum to get me another pair, this time in buffalo leather- they're too pricey for a college student but worth every penny!

Love these so much I have them in black, clay, red, copper, and now buying blue and silver leather. Wear them all summer and take them traveling to hot climates like Burma, Italy, Eqypt where I wear them all day touring with getting tired. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that they tend to stretch a bit, esp nubuck, so I buy one size smaller than usual.

These are sooo comfortable - lovely support in the nicely shaped arch that feels so good as you slide it on. Plus, they're springy - lightweight. The straps are at good angles to mask weird looking feet, and the angle of the straps give the look interest. The velcro is really fast and handy - no little metal loops to find. I'd like to get my mom a pair of these! Wasn't even in the market for them, but tried them on and then couldn't forget how superior they felt! For many I think, the Kayla model would be a good purchase!

I have back trouble and can't wear heels anymore. Sometimes even flat shoes can cause my back to hurt after 15 minutes. Not these. I can be on my feet for hours with NO BACK PAIN. They are awesome--and cute too. Wear with shorts, skirts, whatever. Kayla's are nothing short of a blessing!

These are the ONLY sandals that fit my feet. I have been wearing them now for well over six years and wear them until the tread is gone, then on to a new pair! I wear them with everything! I hope this style stays around for a long time!

I absolutely love the Kayla. I have "Haxus Veris" - i.e. my big toe sticks out (opposite of a bunion) and this style has the strap forward enough to hold my big toe back in its proper position. I only wish you made other styles with the toe strap a little further forward. Don't ever stop making the Kayla! They are so comfortable and solve my problem.

I saw the Kayla on display when I went in to pick up a pair of Naots I'd ordered. The 'test run' was remarkable and while I left the store with just my pre ordered shoes, I couldn't get the feeling of walking in these out of my mind! So ten days later, I returned, found walking in the Kayla just as light, 'springy' and comfortable as the first time, and bought them! So glad I did! I've worn these more than any other sandal. These seem to actually propel energy into the next step while you walk! For an all around, go-to sandal, of excellent feel, excellent sole, excellent quality leather - that doesn't cut and doesn't fall off, the Kayla is a great choice!

Because of a stroke I have drop foot and can no longer wear sandals w/o a strap around the ankle or anything with a heal but I can wear these! They are so lightweight and the footbead is so comfortable and I feel stylish again! Thanks Naot for giving me something other than tennis shoes to wear. I am beginning to feel like my old self again.

These are the best sandals I've owned! They run slightly small but are incredibly comfortable and incredibly light, and stay on your feet for walking, biking, impromptu dance offs... I have the cherry patent leather and people stop me on the street regularly to ask where I got them.

I love them! I went into the shoe store not looking for shoes since I have a very small foot and the guy said this was the smallest he had but he could order a smaller one. It fit! And I will be going back this weekend to see what other styles he has. I love them they are so comfortable.

Totally agree with all the other reviews. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Took them to Italy last year and walked miles in them with not one blister, absolute heaven. I am now looking for another pair in a different colour.

This is hands-down the best shoes I have ever worn. This is coming from the Princess and the Pea when it comes to my feet. I have three pair right now; I've owned at least one pair of Kaylas continuously since the style came out. I have worn them day-after-day on cobblestone streets travelling, walking hundreds of miles, and I never have had one single blister. The only regret I have I that you can't replace the cork footbeds, but I love them so much I just buy another pair when one absolutely bites the dust. If Naot ever stops making this shoe you will hear my wails across the oceans.

I rarely write testimonials, but the Kayla Sandal warrants praise that should be shouted from the roof tops. This is the first shoe "ever" that actually fit the arch of my foot, it's like walking on a cloud. The Kayla is stylish, comfortable and offers better support than my athletic shoes. These are the only shoes I will wear when I'm running on my treadmill. I bet no one thought of that when they designed these wonderful sandals. Give your feet a treat and treat them to a pair or two of the Naot Kayla.

I spent a scorching summer in Spain wearing these every day for six weeks and not one blister! (I even walked the Cinque Terre in Italy in these - up and down steep dusty, rocky treks. I hadn't planned to, but a train strike made it impossible not to. I was glad for my Naots!) They were the one purchase my sister living in the States insisted I take with my - and I never regretted it. Usually I got blisters from sweaty swollen feet walking 6+ hours a day on my annual vacation, but I never will again. I can highly recommend them for comfort, sturdiness and enough style to pull off wearing them with a skirt...

So far, the most comfortable sandal w/ a style I like that I have found. I also wanted to point out I am typically an 8 1/2 US size and had to get a 41 (size 10) since it felt like my foot was too long for the 40.

Such a good find! Love at first step, thanks to the comfort. We all know about the stress walking can place on feet. I've walked many miles in the Kayla sandal for five years, and I still wear them often. I have the clay nubuck color, and I plan to buy another color.

Everyone should own these shoes. They feel like they were made for me. Not only are they the most comfortable shoes I have ever had - I never want to take them off. I normally don't wear shoes in my house, but I just can't bear to take them off. They make me enjoy walking more than ever, and that's saying a lot because I've struggled with foot pain for a long time. Thank you Naot, please never ever stop making these!

The most comfortable sandal ever. Was introduced to them on a trip to Israel a couple of years ago and now I own gold, silver, black patent, and copper colors. It does run a size small. I usually wear a 40 in Naot, but in these sandals I need a 41.

The most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I bought my first pair a couple of years ago and despite wearing them to death, they are still in great shape. I just bought a second pair and am contemplating a third.

I have 4 pairs of the Kayla style sandle. These are by far the best shoes I have ever had. I used to get blisters form other shoes. I have never had a blister, or any other foot problem since wearing Naots. I travel alot, and I can walk all day without any problems. Great Shoes.

I bought these in black last year. They are completely comfortable. I am heavy and can walk all day in them. I just discovered you still have them. I am trying to decide between gold or copper for another pair.

I would have given this sandal top billing if thee were elastic gores on the front straps. I take an 8 1/2 US size but with noats I have to take a 10 which in turn makes the straps over sized. I hope they consider half sizes in the future to allow for a better fit. The foot bed is a dream on the feet!!!
