Not known to pay the prices Noat Lapplands sell for, I purchased my first pair at a close-out sale. That was over 5 years ago. I just received a new pair and found the footbed is replaceable. Am ordering a footbed for the old pair. Now I have a dress pair and a work pair of Lapplands. If I'd know their quality, I'd probably taken better care of the first pair - not! I live in them. They look like it and I love them.

I bought my Lapplands in 2001 and my first real test was in Thailand. From the beginning I have not had one problem. I have hiked up and down small mountains, in the tropics and all over the United States. I replaced the footbed once. I know I should do it sooner but they are so comfortable I hardly notice. Best sandal made!

I suffer from plantar fasciitis, and since sinking my feet into the lapplands ive had no problems. that is until its time to replace the footbed. i lived in them last year and now its time to replace them. They are awesome!
