These shoes are so easy to wear--supportive, virtually slip-on and -off--and regularly garner compliments, even tho the toes are totally scuffed and have been since their first week of wear (even tho I was genuinely careful with them). In their second month, I took them for a 6+ mile run, which left their soles (and my legs) a bit worse for the wear. They're no longer even, so I'm going to look into the cost to resole them. If it's possible and affordable, I'll do it, because even tho scuffed, these are super shoes.

My podiatrist recommended a shoe with these features: stiff, thick sole; rounded footbed with removable insole for orthotics. This was my first pair of Naots, and I absolutely love them. Receive many compliments on them too!

I have had my very first pair of Naots since Monday. I have worn them twice for 13 hours or so at a time, neither squeeks, and I LOVE them. I have sore tired feet everyday even after only a couple of hours - but not today! They are the most comfortable shoes I have had in forever and so far worth every penny of the $200 I paid! My feet have not been so happy in 15 years!

I love the comfort and look of these shoes-- but I was very concerned when I read about how easily they scuffed. I'm very gentle with my shoes, but still I thought I'd better do some preventive care. I came up with an odd solution that has worked great so far: I found nail polish that is exactly the color of my Peacock Lthr/Violet shoes. I applied several coats -- just painted it on-- and then applied a coat of hard as nails. So far, no scuffing-- but they definitely have a patent leather shine to them. That's fine with me though.

Having high arches, these shoes work great for my feet. I was disappointed about the scuffing that happened right away on the toe though.

I love these shoes. They are so comfortable. I am on my feet all day, I dont feel a thing. However, the squeaking is really frustrating. I took it to a shoe repair who determined, that an air pocket is in the bed of the shoe and their is nothing they can do to repair it. This is a $200 shoe and should not squeak. FYI: If you take out the insole and put baby powder in the shoe and put the insole back, it may help as per the store, but not for me.

It was love at first sight, but I've regretted it ever since. They were horribly scuffed after a week of wear, and since the one time I wore them in the rain they squeak so loudly I'm embarrassed to wear them indoors. I took them to a repair guy who glued the insoles down but that didn't help. Beautiful and comfortable, but for $200 the squeaking is very disappointing. They're like gremlins - don't get them wet!

I wore my new shoes on Thanksgiving and scratched them the first day. The shiny lovely patina does not last long. The toes on both are badly scuffed and I only wore them twice. They are very comfortable and very pretty BUT they scuff like crazy. I did get some markers from an art supply store but what really works is colored pencils because you can build up the color again. Still, if you are hard on your shoes THINK TWICE!

after two years of constant wear the toes are scuffed and the shoes squeak. They're still so comfortable that I can't let them go. I got another pair to wear when I need to look a little nicer but the old ones are what I reach for most days. If I could only have one pair of shoes, this would be it.

These shoes are super comfortable and super cute but the squeek in the shoes drive me crazy. I tried everything to fix it but nothing works.

I LOVE theses shoes. They dress up and down, and always jazz up an outfit. I call them my museum/Costco shoes as they are always comfortable when walking slow and stopping frequently. A must take for every trip. Perfect heel height for all day. Have purple on order.

I ordered this style because it looks so pretty. However, I don't feel comfortable in it. The back is too high, and the heel is too flat for me. I gave it to my friend and it fit her perfectly. She loves it.

I have the shoes in black with the pink swirl. I love them, but the right shoe has started to squeak. The store told me they would have to send them back as defective and it would take months. I have tried baby powder under the footbed and double sided tape, but they still squeak. They also squeak without the footbeds in them. The squeak is very annoying to me and my co-workers.

I have had these shoes in brown and black and where them everywhere. Even two years later I still get compliments on them. I had plantar fasciitis for two years and these shoes accomodated my orthodics and were a relief to wear. They squeaked when I first bought them, but the store reheated the glue and it was not an issue any more. The front of the toe does scuff, but that's regular wear and tear for shoes. I don't think that should effect the rating.

i love these shoes. i got a brown pair about 3 years ago and literally wore them into the ground and finally got replacement last year. now i have 3 pairs (brown, black and red) - they are so comfortable and my orthotics fit perfectly! Gone are the days are having to wear clunky grandma shoes if you have orthotics!

Great shoe for anyone with foot problems. Both comfort and support make the shoe a winner. A word to the wise, change the foot beds every so often to keep your feet in good shape. Not doing so will lead to lack of support.

LOVE these shoes! I'm young and I have arthritis in my big toes and heals, so it's hard to find shoes supportive shoes that look cute! I can walk all day in these. (The toes do scuff, but I solved that problem by applying some shoe polish with a q-tip or make-up pad).

I've had this shoe for 2 years now and it's my favorite. So comfortable and wonderful to walk around town or the mall in. The toe box has lots of room and plenty of width. Love it!

I just loved these shoes - the look, and the comfort, and got so many compliments. However, after just two weeks, the dye started scuffing off on the toe area. I took them to an excellent shoe repair place, where I was told this sloped toe is a real headache, and he was unable to dye them. I returned them, and got the Hash color, and now they look as horrible as the Red ones. I'm so disappointed.

This is the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned! I can spend all day walking in these shoes and at the end of the day my feet still feel fantastic. It's great that they're cute in addition to being so comfortable. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them! I would recommend these shoes to anyone.

These shoes are a God-send for me. I was recently diagnosed with fallen arch in my right foot and have burning in my left foot by end of day. I have been prescribed inserts which I've had a very difficult time finding shoes that would accommodate them (other than sneekers) and even then my feet hurt by end of day. I don't even need the inserts with these Naots. No pain in my feet after 8 hours - it's a miracle! Thank you and keep making them.

These shoes are really comfortable - just like my first pair of Naots. And the pink swirls on the black are really cute. It's great to find cute shoes that are also really comfortable. (The only bummer for me is that the right shoe squeaks a bit every time I take a step - me or the shoe? I don't know.)
