This is my first pair of shoes by NAOT. I usually buy the Rachael sandal. But I broke down,(my pennies were tight!) and bought a pair of the Matai. AWESOME!!!! ALL my toes are aligned, nothing is squeezing my skin or putting my foot in a weird postion. I can wear them all day. I have lymphedema and I wear compression garments on my toes and a legs so I need a shoe that could accomodate all that, with "style" and "comfort". I have the Navy Blue,with bronze trimming and brown swirly on top,MATAI. I wear them everyday! Love NAOT!!!

I love Naots. These were my first pair and now they are all I plan to buy. However, about these particular shoes I will say they seemed to stretch out a bit over time. Wish I would have gotten a size smaller. The strap stretches and is coming off where it is attached to the shoe.

Love love love these shoes. Have 4 pair, three of the same green color that you no longer offer (I wear them until they are worn out!) I get compliments every single time I wear them -- please bring back the green!!!!!

Amazing brand of shoes - made in Israel, made for comfort, and made to last. Seems most reviews were from women of considerable age, women with arthritis in knees, those who have had surgery, or bunion suffers. As someone who has none of these conditions and is not of retirement age, I wear these shoes for comfort, quality, and yes, style! Darn cute with jeans, casual skirts, etc.

After two years of wearing nothing but athletic shoes (due to plantar fasciitis) I discovered Naot shoes. I doubted I would ever feel comfortable in "dress" shoes again and was rather skeptical when the sales clerk recommended I try on the Matai but I am so glad I did. Wearing these shoes is like wearing a pair of slippers. I am an elementary teacher and am on my feet all day at work. These shoes are simply wonderful!

Just purchased my first pair of Naot shoes - Matai-and they are wonderful! I have severe arthritis in my knees and Matai fits like a glove and providesl unbelievable comfort. I've purchased many shoes in my day and I have never experienced such a wonderful fit. Thank you for making such a superior shoe.D

I hated shoes before NAOTs. These are the shoes I wear with everything. People constantly compliment me on them. They are so comfy I can stand and walk forever. I even wear them to the gym to walk on the treadmill! I'm ordering my second pair, after 10 years, the lining is wearing thin. I could get it fixed, but the truth is, I want them in different colours! Enjoy.

Love these shoes! Have had two pair - most comfortable and great for all seasons with pants, capris and skirts. BUT...Velcro seems to lose its holding ability too soon, and the little tab that holds the metal ring to the shoe finally ripped. It's true, I wore one pair or the other every day for a year but still... That is disappointing because they are still otherwise in good condition! But I'm buying more anyway!!

This is about my 4th pair of Naots, and I love the style...casual, but dressy enough for work. As a teacher, I'm on my feet all day, so I need comfort, and no blisters. I am finding that these are wider than my previous Naots and don't hold my narrow feet securely. I slide around in them, and by the end of the day, my feet ache. Never thought I'd say that about Naots! I wouldn't recommend these for narrow-footed people!

Thought I'd join the fan club. I love my Matai's too. Both pairs. I have an old green pair that I've worn to death but just can't part with them. I have a black pair too that I bought one size larger so I can wear them with black socks. Now I'm going to buy a red pepper pair - it might make letting go of the much loved green ones easier! If you have difficult feet, you just have to try Naots. They're awesome.

I have a pair of these shoes...they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn (besides my other 2 Naots, which are also the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn). Lovely support, soft, easy walking, wear all day and look like new all the time. Compliments always when I wear them. I had spinal surgery 3 years ago. Shoes are of vital importance. Naots work! I put these shoes on first thing in the morning and wear them all day. If you have any serious foot pain, like I do, these are the best shoes I have ever found. They wear and wear and wear! Extremely comfortable and lightweight, while at the same time offering great support. Go Naot!

These are my "go to" shoes. Bought one pair and after weraing the first time, purchased 3 more! I receive compliments EVERY time I have them on. That is most notable as I wear AFO foot drop braces and now don't have the "granny" look...although I am happy to be a Grandmother. Thank you Naot.

I have back problems and have had 3 knee surgeries, add to that I have no arch and wear a size 10.5. I tried this shoe on 2 years ago and immediatley knew it was THE shoe for me. My body feels no pain adrer a day of being on my feet wearing these shoes. When I wear someothing different, I suffer the next day. I am so excited because as a birthday present to myself I bought another pair last night in the peacock blue AND found out I can order new insole for my brown/black shoes that I lives in the past 2 years. Bought this pair of shoes on a trip to Knoxville, TN. I have to wear orthotics in both shoes, and my orthotics fit nicely into each shoe. They are attractive, dressy, exceedingly comfortable, and can also be worn with casual clothes. I loved them from the moment I put them on, and will definitely buy another pair.

My Naot Matai’s were comfortable from the instant I put them on. I immediately wore them on a flight from Seattle to Ketchikan, spent 6 hours salmon/halibut fishing, toured an old cannery facility, boarded a tug, shifted a vessel into dry dock and hiked up into the woods for target practice, all in the rain. My Matai’s still looked brand new on the flight back to Seattle the next day. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Whether I was reeling in a 58lb halibut balancing on a wet deck, jumping from the dock to the wet tug boat deck or hiking in the gravel, my feet felt secure and comfortable the whole time. Love my shoes!!

I bought my first pair of Naot's about 12 years ago and have been a big fan since. I bought the Matai in black yesterday and wore it all day today. It is so and comfortable - try it, you will like it and your feet will thank you!

I loved my Sketchers but had no support and by the end of the day, my feet were killing me. THe Naot is so comfortable and my feet broke them in right away. Can't wait to wear them when I return to work. I stand on lineoleum tile all day, which is the worst for your feet. I will buy another pair

I ditto each and every review. I've had mine a year, they're well worn and still look new. I bought my sister a pair and she loves them and then bought myself a 2d pair in another color. I even sold another lady on buying a pair while shopping for my 2d pair. They're great looking and just a wonderfully comfortable shoe.

I bought this at the outlet, and wearing it as my driving shoes. I ended up brought it to the States for a 3 days shopping trip, and wearing it on day 1, no pain at all. Day 2, I wore my Birkenstock Ibiza sandal the whole day, and the pain from my feet was very noticeable at night. That's how I can tell how comfy the soft footbed is,highly recommeding Naot for its soft footbed.

I got these shoes for my trip to Italy. I thought they were very stylish, and I hoped against hope that they wouldn't be as comfortable as the salesperson said because I had a bit of sticker shock. They are like walking on marshmallows. There is super arch support, and the leather is so soft. They are worth every penny!

These are the most incredible shoes. For my entire life, I've been plagued with blisters. As we planned our trip to Italy, I was afraid... afraid of the pain I'd endure. If you have sensitive feet and have to walk alot.. these are the shoes for you. From the moment I put them on, they felt like Christmas morning. Like a Summer's day.. Like out-of-the-oven Cinnamon Rolls. Seriously though, they are an orgazm for your feet.

While at the beach,I stopped by Sand Dollar shoes. I have purchased Naot's Amryllis in black and brown a few years ago. Now, I was looking for something more casual to wear with shorts. I found a pair of Matais in pink. I tried them on just for fun and they were very comfortable not to mention cute. However, I did not buy the pink because I prefer the white/silver. So I'm having them ordered in my size. My orthodics fit well in Naots and I don't always have to wear tennis shoes.

I love these shoes! This is my first pair of Naot brand, and I have to say that they're worth every dollar! These are the first pair of shoes I have been able to wear and walk in without pain in my left foot for almost a year. This style is the perfect combination of style and comfort.

The Matai are indeed soft and cushy, with built in support. I got them because my feet were hurting! Regarding walking and standing in them all day: it might be my 50 lbs of overweight, but these softer shoes leave my legs and feet tired after several hours. I do much stading and teaching for hours in Naots from the "Floral" collection, which are not as soft but do offer lots of support - I never get tired wearing the "Floral" collection shoes. But I do change into these Matai when I don't have to stand very much.

Most comfortable nursing shoes I've ever had, got white and sliver, have had soooo many compliments. The only thing that doesn't hurt now are my feet!!!!

This was my 1st pair of Naot's over a year ago; You cannot even tell I have owned them a month, much less a year. I own the Kumara tie up shoe and plan to order the Papua and a clog today. They are worth every penny when you want a shoe that you can wear all day. I have had back surgery that failed and until these shoes, I was always in pain. The footbeds are marvelous and interchangeable. Every shoe store (high end) that I have asked recommends these also. I won't bother looking for anything else. I am so grateful.

Naot Matai shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. The black ones look great with everything. I like your other colors too, and am going to get several pairs in different shades - I don't want to wear anything else! The Velcro makes them adjustable and great for air travel. I was so tired of spending lots of money for shoes that killed my feet but were supposed to be comfortable. I bought these and they are perfect. I will have to think very hard before buying any other brands of shoes now.

I must tell you the funniest thing, everwhere I go with my Matai's on people stop me and ask me if they can try on my Maitai's. At the mall, at work, on a sailboat....and you shold see their faces when they feel them on their feet.

I now have the Matai in all colors. Thanks for making the white and silver. May I recommend you consider making Turquoise with silver, Denim Blue with silver and a Dark Red with brass. If I had these 3 colors I can throw away all my other brands of shoes and just have Naot Matai in my closet. These are the best shes in the world.

I was 6 months pregnant and going on a trip to Italy. Before I bought these shoes, I had back trouble every day. In Italy we walked MILES and I never had one issue with my back! I have worn these shoes every day since. I LOVE THEM!

I bought a pair of Naot's on the advice of my saleswoman (but I also loved the style). They are, by far, the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned in my 68 years. I have 5 pair of Maitai........never intend to buy any other shoe again, so please naot make some light colors for summer, like off white, beige, white for nurses would be great.

I found these to be slightly larger than Naot's other shoes, but it works fine because I can wear tights or trouser socks with them. I have two colors. They are very comfortable with good arch support, adjustable strap, and cute with slacks or skirts.

I loved my black ones so much I bought a pair in another color and am planning to buy a pair for a friend. Lots of compliments because they are charming, but most important is that they are marvelously comfortable right out of the box.

I bought these shoes to wear on my vacation in Italy. I planned to use my orthotics, but the footbed is so comfortable and the arch so supportive that I didn't need the orthotics. They were wonderful on all of the old uneven streets and I averaged 10 - 11 miles of walking each day. I will be looking for more styles!

I bought these in Apricot for touring the South of France. They withstood the march up and down cobbled streets with no twist of the ankle. Loved them so much I came home and bought the Metal/lthr Black. Everytime I put them on I have people stop me and ask about my shoes (apricot). Love the color. The velcro closure makes airport security a little less of a hassel.
